A workshop by Mike Atherton
Content modeling atomises complex subjects into the things people think about, describing the wibbly-wobbly ways these things connect. Structured content mirrors the way we explore knowledge. Links become informative, building bridges between concepts.
Maximise investment in content by restructuring, reusing and remixing. Improve reach, SEO and findability. Stitch products into the fabric of the web; natural to explore and easy to share. This workshop teaches you about structured content and how to build content models. We’ll cover how a content model expresses a subject and informs site structure. You’ll create your own model and leave with tools to use straight away.
It’s ideal for IAs, UXers and content strategists working with deep content. Even if you’re new to IA you’ll can apply content modelling to your work.
Mike Atherton is Head of User Experience for Huddle.
