Content Adaptation to Mobile Devices

Displaying standard web pages on mobile devices is a challenge. Costs of managing a separate site and content for mobile devices is, however, hard to justify. Content adaptation solutions claim to be able to make a standard website displayable and usable on mobile, portable devices. We conducted a large quantitative and qualitative comparative study analysing eight content adaptation solution with four usage scenarios and six mobile devices. The presentation will show: o the results of the study o lessons learned o best and worse practices o tips for choosing and using content adaptation solutions o discuss the alternatives
