This observation made Alisan Atvur investigate why some design research deliverables and activities seemed to drive innovation better than others. In this session, Atvur shares real-world examples and scenarios where research deliverables and activities accidentally sabotaged the value of the design research work.

In this session, Atvur shares real-world examples and scenarios where research deliverables and activities accidentally sabotaged the value of the design research work. The presentation concludes with a practical framework for ensuring design research deliverables can survive within the organisation.

 

Alisan Atvur

Alisan Atvur is a senior user researcher leader at Novo Nordisk A/S, an advisor to the Copenhagen Institute of Neurocreativity, a guest editor of Touchpoint - The Journal of Service Design, and the founder of Atvur+, a boutique design strategy and education firm. His work in design and strategy has influenced products and services that have been used by millions of people in North America, Asia and Europe. Before moving to Copenhagen, Alisan held senior design positions at award-winning firms such as Frog, InReality and Propelland.
